ARTIFACT/ARCHEOLOGY PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT

FOR THE FIELD MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY CHICAGO
Preparations for a huge archeological exhibition have been going on for years at the Field Museum and a very high quality catalogue is also being prepared for this event.
For this reason, they were looking for a photographer for the project.
The museum contacted me because the curators saw my art/archeology album (where I took all of the 2000 artifact photographs & graphic design works): The Ancient Treasures of the Carpathian Basin.
We started to work together with the museum at the end of 2019 and the whole project took more than 8 months.
In this big project the FIELD MUSEUM assigned me to take photographs at more than 25 European museums in the Balkan region.
In this project I took about 14.000 photographs of about 300 single artifacts and of about 100 assemblages (group of objects).
You can see photos about artifacts from the stone age to Tracian kingdoms.
It was a great honor and pleasure for me to cooperate with the FIELD MUSEUM.
