REBRANDING PROJECT FOR THE HUNGARIAN MUSEUM OF ETHNOGRAPHY This large-scale rebranding work was made for an open design tender of the Museum of Ethnography. The museum and all of it's collections are moving to a new place. A huge national project is underway in Hungary, the new museum quarter of Budapest is being built in the Budapest City Park "Városliget". The Museum of Ethnography will move there too, and they get a very imposing, clean and modern building. So in the rebranding tender, the museum specified that one of the possible visual approaches to creating the new brand identity is based on the form or visual world of their new, iconic building. In my first concept I chose this way. Both of its 2 versions. I wanted to design a strong and clean identity that visually connects to the other big museums' identities of the "Városliget", like Museum of Fine Arts and others. My second concept is unfinished and not based on the visuality of the new building, but based on a special, traditional costume decoration style: soutache "sujtás".
